Objective

Summary

I have taught composition and technical writing on the college level for over twelve years. I received both my BA (English/Creative Writing) and MA (Multicultural Literature) degrees from East Carolina University and have used my expertise in higher education as well as in the business sector as a freelance writer and business stationery designer.

My work has been published in various industry magazines, including Gift Basket Review, once the premiere print publication for the gifting industry in which I also worked as a small-business owner for over a decade.

I released my first book (a novella), A Debt Too Deep, in 2007 under my own imprint, Parker Bordeaux Press. A Debt Too Deep is a work of inspirational fiction that has received high praise from readers and genre critics. The sequel, Where Credit Is Due, was released in Fall 2010.
